Surfboard Sizing Hub is an independent project built to make board sizing easier to understand.

What we do

We offer a free volume calculator and plain-language guides to weight, experience, and board style. The aim is to give you a useful starting point and explain what a single number cannot tell you.

How our guidance works

Our calculator uses transparent editorial factors. It is not a manufacturer fitting system, and its ranges have not been validated through a controlled rider study. We publish the factors and examples so you can understand and question the result.

Guides combine general explanations with links to relevant manufacturer information. We do not claim to have personally tested boards unless an article explicitly reports a test. Model-specific recommendations should be checked with the maker, a local shaper, or an instructor who knows your surfing.

Our editorial approach

We aim to keep explanations practical, distinguish estimates from specifications, and correct errors when identified. Articles show their update date. AI tools assist with drafting and website development; this does not replace board testing or professional instruction.

How the site is funded

We have connected the site to Google AdSense for review. Display advertising may be enabled after approval. We currently use no affiliate links. Paid relationships and affiliate links will be identified when introduced.
